Hi there, Esteban here. Sorry it's taken my a little while to get translating, but I'll help as much as I can!
Hi! I'm user ID 23! PKFC! PKFC 17:59, 4 March 2008 (EST)
Howdy. Was wondering if you guys needed some help proofreading/editing any of the script. If so, I'd be glad to help. I'm a longtime DQ/DW fan, so I'd be glad to be of assistance in this regard. Later on (once the translations done) I also would be willing to help go through a run-through prior to release (with epsxe) to check for any unintentional errors. Let me know if you want the help.
Send me an e-mail at damarsman with gmail.com with your AIM and stuff. PS2 games don't run in epsxe by the way. -DaMarsMan

PlatKing here:
I been doing some spell checking on the script and I'm seeing some concerns I think need to be brought up. First is the "word stretching" that I'm seeing a lot of, for example... Nooooooooooo... Yeeeesssssss... Uggggggghhhh... Yahooooooooo... I'm not trying to be a critic but I think there is far too much of this in the script.
Another concern is the ALL CAPS words. There is a lot of that in the script as well.
On a side note, I have been removing the references to Sabercat and going with Killer Panther but this can easily be switched. -Please don't...I had Ekras put all those in. If you want killer panther than you can use the DW version when it's done. -DaMarsMan
No problem, the [Sabercat:Killer Panther] is back in. Didn't think there was gonna be more than one version of the script.
I've noticed a spelling variation among certain names and wondered which ones you guys are wanting to go with in the script, here's some variations I'm seeing. Oraclebury and Oracleberry.....Sabercub and Sabrecub.....Sabercat and Sabrecat There's probably more but those are right off the top of my head. So far I been switching all of it to "Oraclebury" to be consistant. Haven't messed with the others yet.
Another spelling variation I've seen a lot of is...Granbania and Granbannia. Changing to "Granvania".
Places will help with some of the naming issues (heh, i think i forgot about Granvania and changed some to Granbania out of habit) --i88gerbils 22:26, 23 April 2008 (EDT)
I changed my checklist to 98% complete on all the blocks I've went thru so far cause I'm gonna go back thru them after adding the "Places" and "Character" section to my spellchecker. I didn't do that the 1st time. -Plat
I'm giving a 99% spellcheck to the blocks I have went thru with the "Places" and "Character" names added to the spellchecker. -Plat
Now that I think about it, I don't think a 100% spellcheck should be given until after a script block has been completely proofed by all involved and no more edits will be made to the script and then one final check is done. -Plat
I don't see a spelling reference for "Colins" or "Benett" and just wondered if these are correct. -Plat
- I'm not sure about "Colins" either that or "Collins", not sure. "Benett" is good.
Greetings to all! Since I'm unable to contact anyone who's involved with the translation, I'd like to ask where (If I can) I could get the beta of the translation project. Thanks! - cacarog You can't. -DaMarsMan
(waves) Hello. I asked dq5r over at Dragon's Den if I could help a little, so here I am.
I'm User:Tummai. I'm MetalSlime on the Den and tummai on RHDN. I know Japanese and have a little experience with NES hacking stuff. Just dropping by to see if anything is going to happen with DQ6.
